Not at all. Many lawyers come to me knowing that something needs to change, but without a clear picture of what that change should be. We'll work out what matters to you, explore your options and develop a direction that reflects what you actually want from your career and life. You don't need to have the answers before you start.

We might work on making a career decision, securing a new role, positioning for promotion or partnership, strengthening your professional brand, preparing for interviews or increasing your confidence, visibility and influence. The focus is always on developing a practical strategy that fits you and your career.

Yes. I work with lawyers in private practice and in-house, at different stages of their careers. Although the context may differ, many of the challenges are similar: deciding what comes next, communicating your value, navigating progression and building the confidence and influence to take greater control of your career.

I bring more than 25 years' experience working with and for lawyers, including experience as a practising lawyer, legal recruiter, learning and development professional and executive coach. I've worked alongside senior lawyers and partners in global law firms and understand the pressures, politics and often unspoken expectations that influence recruitment, promotion and career progression in the legal profession.

The Career Strategy Consultation is a focused 90-minute session for lawyers who want expert input on a particular career decision or challenge. My 1-to-1 Career Coaching programme provides more sustained support over three months, giving us time to work through your direction, positioning and career strategy in greater depth.

No. I’m a career coach, not a recruiter, so I won’t find or apply for roles on your behalf. What I will do is help you get clear about what you’re looking for, position your experience effectively and develop a practical strategy for finding and securing the right opportunities.
